Remembering a Veteran

Good morning from the front porch at Uncle Donnie's farm in North Dakota. Always enjoyed coming out here over the years. I know dad and I have never enjoyed being up early in the morning except for when we had golf to get ready for... but seeing the sunrise is definitely a perk/bonus... which is why dad and I always say if God had meant for man to see the sun rise he'd have put it in Prime Time.

We are in ND this week (from Texas) for the funeral of my father who will be laid to rest at the ND Veterans Cemetery on Friday.
